The long-running battle to save Setanta's substantial UK business finally collapsed yesterday as administrator Deloitte moved in and shut down the business. The move triggered the loss of 200 jobs across Setanta's bases in England, Scotland and Wales, while another 19 jobs were shed in Dublin after new media wing Setanta Media was wound up.But there was a reprieve for the sports giant's Setanta Sports Ireland, which employs 160 locally, and Setanta Sports International, which has 50 staff.
